We are historical re-enactors. What does it mean? It means that we dress ourselves in costumes made after historical findings and learn thousand year old crafts, traditions, dances and songs. But to experience the ancient life more directly, every member of our club chooses a character for himself, someone who might have lived in Estonian Viking Age society. On our webpage every club member has a portrait photo, Viking Age name and also corresponding fictional profession.
About house rules:
The one, who has been accepted among The Great Kin of Kalev and is on his probation period, is called a Novice. The Wise will appoint someone to guide the Novice on his path , to teach and help him/her, so that the probation period will be as fruitful as possible.
If the Novice has managed pass the trials of probation period successfully, he will become a Tried One.
A Tried One of The Great Kin of Kalev, who has proven that he is skilled enough to teach others, will be named the Wise and will be accepted among the Council of the Wise. Council of the Wise decides together what actions would serve the goals of the whole club best.
